These MDM microminiature D connectors have electroless nickel plated aluminium shells for added strength and EMI and RFI shielding along with silicone elastomer compression interfacial seals that provide protection against moisture and humidity between each contact and contacts and shell. The contacts of these MDM Micro-D connectors are size 24 MICROPIN™ or MICROSOCKET™ contacts which are made from copper alloy with a gold plating.
